IRMC Welcomes Cardiothoracic Surgeon John C. Brock, M.D.

John C. Brock, M.D.

Vero Beach, FLA (Feb. 24, 2017) — Indian River Medical Center (IRMC) welcomes board-certified Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon John C. Brock, M.D. to its multi-specialty group of physicians. 

Dr. Brock attended medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and completed his internship, residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.

Dr. Brock’s academic and hospital appointments include clinical professor at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Tampa General Hospital.

His professional membership certifications include the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, the American Board of Surgery and Board Certified American Academy of Anti-Aging and Rehabilitative Medicine. 

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Brock to Indian River County,” said Mark Quenan, Director of Physician Network Operations at IRMC. “With over 25 years of experience, his knowledge and skills will be an asset to the Welsh Heart Center in providing great care to our patients and community.”
