About Ivana Parody, M.D.
Dr. Parody received her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba Facultad de Ciencias Medicas in Argentina, where she ranked first in her class. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she was named resident of the year. During residency, she also performed rheumatology rotations at University of Miami Hospital. She then completed a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Parody is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Rheumatology-Dermatology Society. She earned USSONAR certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound and was a sub-investigator in several rheumatology research studies. Dr. Parody enjoys all aspects of rheumatology, but has special interest in lupus, Sjogren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, vasculitis and integrative medicine.
