Each birthing suite has state-of-the-art monitoring technology to ensure your baby arrives safely. Since 1932, over 40,000 babies have been delivered and cared for at IRMC.

Our obstetric services include:

  • Prenatal care and education to ensure a healthy birth for mom and baby
  • New mother support groups
  • Breastfeeding education and support
  • Infertility assessments
  • Minimally-invasive sterilization procedures

Partners in Women’s Health

Partners in Women’s Health is a group practice of doctors that delivers approximately 80 percent of all county newborns and provides comprehensive gynecological care to women of all ages.

Founded in 1995, Partners in Women’s Health is the result of a cooperative effort between the Indian River County Hospital District and Indian River Medical Center to ensure that all women have access to prenatal care.
