Primary Care

Indian River Medical Center has a full-service primary care practice that includes General Practitioners, Internists, and Family Medicine physicians.

The goal of our primary care physicians is to provide continuing care for patients, which may include disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling and patient education as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.

Primary care is managed by a personal physician often collaborating with other health professionals, and utilizing consultation or referral as appropriate. The primary care setting promotes effective communication with patients and encourages the role of the patient as a partner in health care.
